Apremont Ouest

Apremont Ouest is one of the more accessible sectors in the Apremont forest, located conveniently close to the parking area. The terrain is at a hill and fairly compact, offering a high concentration of problems within a short distance. The area features both an orange and a red circuit, with the red circuit standing out for its quality and variety.

Conditions vary depending on elevation—while the lower section tends to stay damp after rain, the upper part dries much more quickly, allowing for earlier climbing after wet weather. Cell phone reception is also better here. When the nearby Chalet de la Caverne des Brigands is open, it’s a great spot to grab a snack or a refreshing drink before or after your session.
